I read about Holly through Yvonne blogs and i felt sad for Holly and her family, if we didn’t help Holly she may be just waiting to be deaf and already blind! She may never heard or see her beloved child and husband again! So just a dollar already saving her lives. As a blogger we can also post about Holly or post up her banner so there’s more people can know about her. To be honest i not good in writing some i copied from YuinYin too, but all i know is i really hope to do my part in spreading this to more people and hope at the least they can help me spread it too. Your help will be greatly appreciated!

Holly story…

Holly Alonzo is a 21 years old mother and wife with a genetic condition called Neurofibromatosis Type 2 (NF2), which is tumors grow on the spine and cranial nerves. Holly was diagnose when she was 13 years old, a year earlier than Yvonne. At that time, the doctors found a tumor wrapped around her brain stem. This tumor had to be removed, and she I woke up blind.

Holly is married with a newborn and she also has bilateral Acoustic Neuroma and became deaf in the first ear. Being blind, she was unable to see her child smile. She could only depend on her good ear to feel close to her baby. Right now the tumor on the good ear is growing and the one ear with residual hearing, is also in danger.

Holly is now hoping to get an Auditory Brainstem Implant (ABI). The implant will provide her with some auditory stimulation so that will not have to risk being completely blind AND deaf. Unfortunately, the procedures to get the implant are only done at select hospitals, and these hospitals do not accept her insurance (Medicaid). The estimated cost of the surgery is USD 60,000.

How you define beauty ? A Miss World ? someone who have fair skin complexion ? Someone who apply thick make-up or someone who have a kind and gentle personality which the beauty glow from inside ? You see this simple question has been popping in my mind for some time. Honestly i kinda have low self esteem i won’t praise myself, if someone do gave me a compliment me i will be extremely happy and will wonder is it true ? Especially after i have my new haircut many told me i look pretty ! “Hehe happy till almost fly ~ :p ” I always thought there’s no one who are ugly or deserve to be called ugly caused no one is perfect. No matter how beautiful or pretty you think you are there’s still will be imperfection appear. Someone who proudly said he/she is beautiful but always has bad attitude or personality like never respect elders or spreading those deadly rumour and causing hurts to someone else shouldn’t mention he/she beautiful. Those whom look simple and averages may surprised you by his/her kind and compassion heart. So never ever despise or give any bad remark to other’s caused before we do so. We should take some time to think are we perfect ? or else we don’t qualify to judges or tease others.

Few year back i have a Cyber friend whom know i were always so low self-esteem asked me to listen to a song sung by “Christina Aguilera named Beautiful” I first not into music so didn’t really know about this song till recently i have chance to listen to this beautiful song i remember him.  Ya previously i really sensitive to what other think about me and i still will be. But how much can i care ? Yea i look shorter then my ages , look thinner , my skin look dried and cranky , the way i walk looks weird maybe so what ? All i can do is work hard to improve my condition! “You may see me cry, You may see me  whine, but you will never ever see me  give up!” Quote from Fiona!

Yay today i joined my first blogger gathering! The All Malaysian Bloggers Project (AMBP) is gathering all registered bloggers for the very first time. The event, which will be held on Jan 12(Saturday) at Starbucks The Gardens, MidValley, is an informal meet-and-mingle.

The first 50 bloggers to walk into Starbucks The Gardens on that day will get coffee (or tea) Me and Yvonne have some lady luck caused we both were the last two person in 50 blogger whom got the free drinks voucher! Best of all it last till 30th June 2008!

It was fun having chance to meet many different people.Their so friendly.! Can’t believe i have the chance to join these gathering. Thanks to Yvonne who help me and show me the way there and god bless everything turn out well.

First i just told my mom i going to Yvonne house and visit her and skip the Starbucks part (I afraid she’ll banned me from going ma) so i thought asking my dad fetch me to Yvonne house. But then my dad have something to do and i late for an hour so i ask Yvonne go on i’ll inform her later, then i ask my dad fetch me to MV (Mid Valley) He surprised and ask lot of question and even called my mom told her bout my plan, but thank god alas mommy let me go and just advice me to becareful. I’m like OMG you letting me go ? Thanks!!! “The gathering were fun, i meet many blogger there and got some blogging tips too:P Haha..Everything were great after the gathering me,Yvonne ,Cordy ,her husband and Pei Lee head to Sushi King to have lunch! Yup i meet Pei Lee too, she looks friendly to me too.. Gosh thanks for letting me have such a wonderful experience !! There’s some nice picture too will post it once i get it from Yvonne..A little dissapointed that YY didn’t come sighzzz…Well thats it for now…

Haha guess i not bored in trying something new huh ? but just a haircut of caused. My new hairstyle is called Bob Cut.. Well i guess it turn out nice this time because many said i look younger and and prettier hehehe… Hey is that means i look like a auntie last time ?!! OMG!!

Happy New Year everyone! Wow new year again! 2008 will be whole new adventure and experience for me again. Bye~ 2007 a year that happen alot to me, learning things and experience changes in life, friends and family. So what’s your new year resolution ??

On diet ? Hope to gain higher level on your career ? or hurry get a boyfriend/girlfriend ? anyone can answer me ? i’m so interested to PAT (Nosy) these stuff

Wondering can people really set a resolution and accomplish it ?

How about me ? i did accomplish some for 2007 hehe.

2008 resolution will be….

1) Can walk properly and steady

so no one will know that i have illness just by seeing the way i walk.

 2) Can changes some bad and naughty attitude. Eg, Stubborn , Lazy , Siu hei,xiao qi.(Sensitive,Easily get hurt by people doing or saying stuff i guess) and don’t fight back words with mommy too much.

3) Get mom permission to take car licence! Yup that’s what i hope for it, caused you see if i passed the car test and got a licence means i can be more confidence in doing things and also show little success to my mom so that she’ll give me more freedom and confidence in me and let be venture and grow to be more independence and confidence lady :P.

4) Stop being so desperate for fantasy friend eg cyber friends who just sweet talk and hurt me. P/s i don’t meant to all my real kind cyber friend ok!

Hmm i guess that’s all for now in my things need to settle list! Wish me luck ok! till then~
